M.O. Verral was born in Loomis, Michigan in 1872. She was a pupil at Moulton College at McMaster University, and at the Academie de la Grande Chaumiere, Paris. She specialized in watercolour paintings of flowers, although the titles of her exhibited paintings show other interests as well.

She was the mother of John Verral.

She exhibited with the The Palette and Chisel Club at the B.C. Art Gallery in 1926 and 1928, at the Vancouver Art Gallery in 1933, and as a member of the Club at the Vancouver Exhibition in 1924, 1925, and 1930.

She exhibited at the National Gallery of Canada in 1930 and 1931.

Verral exhibited one painting at the Canadian National Exhibition in 1930.

She exhibited in the Seattle Art Museum's annual Northwest Artists exhibition in 1930.

She exhibited her work in the B.C. Artists annuals at the Vancouver Art Gallery in 1932, 1938, 1940, 1941, and 1948.

She taught E.J. Hughes painting.

She exhibited her work with the B.C. Society of Fine Arts from 1924 to 1953, and retroactively in 1960.

She died in North Vancouver in 1953 at the age of 81. Her occupation was noted as "Artist - Painting."
