She also exhibited with the B.C. Society of Fine Arts in their annual exhibition in 1943. She was living in Vancouver.
She married Edwin Claude Partington, a pilot in the R.C.A.F., in 1943 in Vancouver. She was living in Washington Court at 998 Thurlow Street, Vancouver. The wedding certificate noted her occupation as "freelance artist."
It is possible that the couple left Vancouver after the marriage, as Harferd's exhibition record here stops that year.
