Hello! Thank you for visiting BC Artists, I hope that you have found some information that is helpful to you in your search. I have spent over 25 years doing research on BC visual artists, and 22 years compiling this web site. Hopefully you have noticed that the entire web site HAS NO ADVERTISING. Just information, nothing else. The entire project has been funded at my own personal expense. However, now that I have retired, the expense of continuing to maintain and expand the project is becoming more difficult. If you use BC Artists, and if you appreciate the information that I have made available for free, please consider making a donation to Sim Publishing. I cannot provide a tax receipt, but I will donate one (or more) of my limited edition prints to you by way of thanks for your donation. Thank you to those who have already made donations to BC Artists. *    *    * BRONZE: A donor giving $50 will receive a free impression of Little Bird, A Candle for Ukraine, or Winter Grass (donor's choice).     *    *    * SILVER: A donation of $100 will receive one free impression of any one of a number of small prints, including Seagull, Columbia Blacktail, Hummingbird, Reactor, Five Bamboo, Penguins, Young Heron, Giraffe, Bald Eagle Masset, or Heron Lost Lagoon (donor's choice).                   *    *    * GOLD: A donation of $200 will receive one free impression of Mallards, Skyline, Summer Rest, Brooks Mogul 2-6-0, Skookumchuck, Otters on Savary Dock, or Wreck (donor's choice).             *    *    * PLATINUM: A donation of $300 will receive one free impression of etchings Water Taxi or Looking West, or relief prints Morning Owl, Higher Rises, South Shore, or Green Harbour (donor's choice).           *    *    * DIAMOND: Any donation over $300 will receive a package of prints, selection to be confirmed with the donor. *    *    * As an alternative to the above rewards for a donation, a donor giving $300 may optionally request one print as per $200 donation and one print as per $100 donation; or three prints as per $100 donation, or any other combination of prints as per $50, $100, or $200 donations. The same applies to donations of $200 (any combination of $50 and $100 prints) and $100 (any combination of $50 prints). Please make cheque payable to Sim Publishing, and mail to Gary Sim, 304 - 1348 Barclay Street, Vancouver BC V6E 1H7, with your return address, stating which limited edition print or prints you would like to receive. Alternately, e-transfer is accepted by email to: sp@sim-publishing.com, the answer to any security question to be "donation." All donations will be acknowledged on the web site unless requested otherwise. Prints will be mailed promptly with a donor certificate, thank-you letter, print information sheet(s), and current "about the artist" information sheet.
