Original Hand-tinted Limited Edition Relief Print issued March 2023

This is a little print that I cut based on a photograph taken while walking on one of the trails in Stanley Park. It was not easy getting a good picture, there were a number that just showed a blur where the bird was, or had just been. The edition is printed on Arches Text Wove paper 120 gsm. All impressions were hand printed by the artist with Caligo Safe Wash Furnace Carbon Black relief printing ink, using an antique J. Smart copy press. All prints are hand coloured with Pitt artist India ink brush pens. All prints are titled, editioned, signed and dated by the artist in pencil, and monogrammed in the plate. NOTE: this image does not show the hand tinted beak and log.
