Constance Bonner was born in Grenfell, Saskatchewan. Both of her parents were born in England. After coming to British Columbia, she exhibited work with the Island Arts and Crafts Society from 1929 to 1941.

She showed work at the Vancouver Art Gallery in the B.C. Artists exhibitions from 1932 to 1952. She was living at Cobble Hill on Vancouver Island.

B.C. Vital Statistics death certificate notes that she was never married, retired from an occupation noted as "hardware, retail" and had been living at an address in Duncan.
