In 1932 Woodward was a signatory to an agreement to boycott the National Gallery of Canada in Ottawa for their exhibition and purchase policies related to Canadian artists. She was noted as being a Victoria artist.
She had work in a number of the the B.C. Artists exhibitions at the Vancouver Art Gallery.
She was single when she died at home in Victoria in 1978.
Editor's note: I did a vertical listing of all artworks that Woodward exhibited with the IACS, adding 142 titles to her exhibition record. Although not much biographical material has been found for the artist, the titles of her artworks show that she travelled widely, not just Vancouver Island and the rest of B.C., but also to Tunisia, Hawaii, Banff, California, and perhaps England. There is a 4-year gap in exhibitions from 1924 to 1928.
