"Original Work Exhibited at the Sketch Club"

      An excellent exhibition at the club rooms on Pender Street was given by the Vancouver Sketch Club on Saturday afternoon, water colors, crayon and portrait sketches being shown, all original work.
      The exhibitors were: Mr. Amiss, (sic) portrait and still life (oils); Miss Dorothy Thompson, two portraits; Mrs. F.F. Schooley, (sic) still life; Mr. W.J. Pierce, two oil landscapes; Miss Wake, landscape; Mrs. S.E. Frame, landscape; Mrs. E. Hudson (sic) Mariacher, dog (oils); Mr. R.S. Sherman, landscape; Mrs. Rankin, three landscapes; Miss Tripp, landscape; Mr. T.A. Stone, (sic) landscape in oils and four landscapes in water colors; Mr. R. Jolly, landscape (water color).

Bastin, landscape, two portraits; Mr. John Scott, two landscapes, two portraits; Mrs. E. Baron, two landscapes and portrait sketch; Miss Conran, Mrs. A.J. McKenna, Mrs. F.C. Ashby, portrait sketches; Mrs. K. Anderson, two landscapes; Mr. E.A. King, decorative effect; Miss A. Russell, decorative effect; Mr. A.E. Pennicuick, decorative effect.
      Mrs. F.C. Ashby presided at the tea-table, which was centred with golden chrysanthemums. Assisting Mrs. Ashby were Miss Dorothy Thornton, Mrs. J Anderson, Miss Kathleen Grady, Miss Alice Walker, Miss Grace Assenberg, Miss Maud Sherman.
