Thomas Henry Emerson

Thomas H. Emerson was born in Scotland, and came to Vancouver c1920. He was married to Mary McMenemy.

He exhibited at the Vancouver Exhibition from 1930 to 1932, representing the Vancouver Sketch Club. In 1939 he had a solo exhibition at the Vancouver Art Gallery.

He exhibited work in the 1944 British Columbia At Work exhibition at the Gallery.

He was one of the "rejectees" from the 14th Annual B.C. Artists exhibition at the Vancouver Art Gallery who had their rejected work hung in protest at the Galloway-Dorbil Gallery on Granville Street.

Emerson died in Vancouver in 1946 at the age of 71. His occupation was noted as "retired Marine Engineer" and he was survived by his wife.
