Enid Dale was born in England, and was a music teacher after she came to Vancouver. She was one of the "rejectees" from the 14th Annual B.C. Artists exhibition at the Vancouver Art Gallery who had their rejected work hung in protest at the Galloway-Dorbil Gallery on Granville Street.

She exhibited in the Seattle Art Museum's annual Northwest Artists exhibition in 1945.

She was on a list titled "Leading Vancouver Artists," provided to the Labour Arts Guild on April 10, 1946 by the Vancouver Art Gallery to assist in the Guild's call for entries to the third annual B.C. At Work exhibition.

She had a number of solo exhibitions at the Vancouver Art Gallery in the 1940s, and had work in the gallery's Jubilee Exhibition in 1946.

She exhibited work in the B.C. Artists exhibitions at the Vancouver Art Gallery. She died in Vancouver in 1982 at the age of seventy-eight.
