She married artist Charles Stegeman in Vancouver in 1952.
She exhibited artwork in the 1953 43rd Annual exhibition of the B.C. Society of Artists, and in 1954, 55, 57, 58, and 1960.
Andre exhibited work in the VAG BC Artists annual exhibitions in 1953/54/56/57/60.
She exhibited in the Seattle Art Museum's annual Northwest Artists exhibition in 1962.
She and her husband moved to Chicago in 1962.
Andre taught in the Banff School of Art summer school.
She died in Malvern, Pennsylvania in 2009 at the age of 83.
