According to a members list in ALBERTA SOCIETY OF ARTISTS - The First Seventy Years, Milne was a member of the ASA from 1936-1937, then resigned, but rejoined in 1943, 1947, from 1950-52, 1957, and 1961.
He had a solo exhibition of watercolours at the Vancouver Art Gallery in 1938. Exhibition information notes that the artist was living in Nanaimo.
He exhibited in the BC Artists annuals in 1938 through 1941, 1947, 1949, and 1950.
He exhibited at the Victoria Art Gallery in 1952, and the Nanaimo Museum in 1968.
