She graduated from the Vancouver School of Art in 1941. In 1939 she won a Merit Certificate, and in 1940 she received the W.G. Murrin Scholarship of $50.00 open to third year design students. After graduation she "took a post-graduate course at the California College of Fine Arts and studied further in London at the Camberwell School of Arts and Crafts."
She exhibited in the 1945 British Columbia At Work exhibition at the Vancouver Art Gallery.
She exhibited her work in the B.C. Artists annuals at the Vancouver Art Gallery in 1944, 1945, 1948, 1949, 1950, and 1956.
In 1948 she was teaching pottery at the Vancouver School of Art. She had exhibited with the Canadian Guild of Potters and "in the Foreign Students' Exhibition, London."
