Sybil Henley Jacobson was born in London. She exhibited artwork in the B.C. Artists exhibitions at the Vancouver Art Gallery from 1937 to 1947. The artist lived in Vancouver from 1936, where she died in 1953.

Artists in Canada notes that she was born in London, England, in 1899 (?), and that there are artist files on her at UBC Fine Arts Library, the National Gallery of Canada, and London Public Library.
