He exhibited work in the All Canadian exhibition in 1932. He was living in Calgary, AB. By 1940 he was noted as living in Vancouver, where he exhibited work in the B.C. Artists annual exhibitions from 1940 to 1948.
He also had work in the 1944 British Columbia At Work exhibitions at the Vancouver Art Gallery.
Hunt died in Vancouver in 1961 at the age of 69. He was noted as being a "Civil Servant (Federal) - Civil Service" from which he had retired in 1956 after 35 years employment.
