Peggy Walton was born in Victoria. She exhibited with the Island Arts and Crafts Society in 1940.

She exhibited in the 1944 and 1945 B.C. Artists exhibitions at the Vancouver Art Gallery. Entry forms noted that she was living in Victoria at the time.

She exhibited in the Seattle Art Museum's annual Northwest Artists exhibition in 1949.

In 1970 she illustrated the book About Victoria and Vancouver Island written by Avis Walton.

In 1977 the artist was living in Victoria, where she died in 2010.
