Edric Howard Oswell

E.H. Oswell was born in Burton on Trent, Stapenhill, England. He arrived in the Kelowna area around 1926, and worked as a rancher in Rutland, and later as a fruit inspector in Kelowna. He married Doris Hope Hutton on November 6, 1925.

He exhibited artwork in the 1947 and 1948 annual B.C. Artists exhibitions at the Vancouver Art Gallery. The artist was living in Kelowna.

He had work in the Federation of Canadian Artists Third Traveling Exhibition in 1947.

In 1964 he died from a "fever of unknown cause."
