Hilda Glyde married H.G. Glyde (q.v.) in England in 1931, and the couple moved to Canada in 1935.

She exhibited her work in the 1945, 1946, and 1947 B.C. Artists exhibitions, and in the 1945 British Columbia At Work exhibition, all at the Vancouver Art Gallery. Her address was given as Victoria.

She moved to the west coast in 1968 when her husband retired, and they mostly lived on Pender Island.
