Robert Connell (Reverend Canon)

Robert Connell was born in Liverpool, England, although both of his parents were from Scotland. He came to Canada c1889, and moved to Victoria c1902. He was married to Janie Catherine Hodson, and was an Anglican Clergyman.

He exhibited with the IACS, and in 1940 and 1941 he was the group's First Vice-President.

Connell exhibited work at the Vancouver Art Gallery in the 1939 Vancouver Island Exhibition.

Connell died in Victoria in 1957 at the age of 86.
