Albert Chilton

September 12 1879 - December 28 1964

West Vancouver Sketch Club


Albert Chilton was born in England. He arrived in BC c 1912, where he was employed as a bank manager. He exhibited artwork in the B.C. Artists exhibitions at the Vancouver Art Gallery in 1946 and 1947. In 1948 he was on the executive of Group Two, associated with the West Van Sketch Club.

He married Della May Archibald Hood, a 54-year old widow, in West Vancouver on February 18, 1933. He moved to Wilson Creek / Davis Bay c1950 after his retirement in 1948.
