This is a view of a Canadian military search and resuce helicopter,
a Boeing Chinook, on a rescue mission in the Coast Mountains of
British Columbia. The helicopter is flying over the 9,700 foot high
pass between Mount Waddington, the highest peak in B.C., and Mount
Combatant, which is the huge rock spire seen in the background.
The drawing in done in graphite with a 0.5mm drafting pencil on 20"
x 26" BFK Rives 235gsm paper from France, with Prismacolour
pencils for the helicopter. It is archivally matted in Crescent 1607
4-ply matte, and is in a 22" x 26" OPUS metal exhibition frame.
