CHAOUEN MAROC - THREE DOORS
Original Pencil drawing issued May 2011
Image size 10" high by 8" wide (250 mm by 200 mm)
(Low resolution image illustrated)
This is a scene from a trip that I took to Morocco in the 1970s.
Chaouen is a village high in the mountains south-east
of Tangiers. The streets are tiny and wind up and down between
ancient buildings that are hundreds of years old.
The drawing is done in graphite with a 0.5mm drafting pencil on
110lb. bright white acid free paper from Canada. It is archivally
matted in Crescent 1607 4-ply matte, in an OPUS metal exhibition frame.
