This is a view of Garibaldi Lake and Garibaldi Mountain, just south of Whistler, British Columbia. Although it is early summer, the ice is still breaking up on the lake. The "barrier" is at lower right, and the tiny pair of peaks on the far horizon just left of center are the Lions above West Vancouver.

The drawing in done in graphite with a 0.5mm drafting pencil on 20" x 26" BFK Rives 235gsm paper from France. It is archivally matted in Crescent 1607 4-ply matte, and is in a 22" x 26" OPUS metal exhibition frame.
