Mrs. L. Juliet Young was born in Vineland, New Jersey, in 1878. She studied in New York and Europe, and was a member of the British Water Colour Society. After arriving in B.C. she had a solo exhibition at the Vancouver Art Gallery in 1935. She also showed work in the B.C. Artists annual exhibitions in 1936, 1937, and 1938. She was a painter in watercolour, pastel, oil, and black and white. She was living in Vancouver in 1941.
