Hildegarde Wyllie was a friend of Ina. D.D. Uhthoff. She exhibited artwork in the annual B.C. Artists exhibitions at the Vancouver Art Gallery in 1938 and 1948. She was living in Royal Oak on Vancouver Island.

She exhibited work with the B.C. Society of Fine Arts in the May 1929 exhibition in Vancouver.

According to B.C. Vital Statistics on-line, her maiden name was Iona Hildegarde Davey. She married Arthur Saunders Wyllie in Vancouver on August 5, 1926. She died in Victoria in 1961 at the age of 64.
