BRITISH COLUMBIA ARTISTS |
Mrs. F.J. Webster exhibited her work with the Vancouver Exhibition Association in 1924. V.M. Brown Webster exhibited with the Vancouver Exhibition in 1925, although the exhibition catalogue noted that her painting was loaned to the exhibition by Mrs. F.J. Webster, which is slightly confusing.
Mrs. Webster exhibited with the B.C. Society of Fine Arts from 1925 to 1929, and in 1950.
She had a solo exhibition of watercolours and drawings at the Vancouver Art Gallery in 1934.
Marjorie E. Webster (Mrs. Frederick John Webster) exhibited work with the Island Arts and Crafts Association in 1928, according to a document filed at the Vancouver Art Gallery in support of an exhibition by the Island Arts and Crafts Association. The card file at the Vancouver Art Gallery notes that she was living in Victoria.
In sum, there is somewhat conflicting information given for this artist.
