Arthur David John Pitts

October 12 1888 - February 13 1972

Arthur Pitts was born in London, England in 1888. He was educated at the Westminster School of Art. He married Helen Margaret MacKenzie in Saanich on September 22, 1924. At that time his occupation was listed as "artist."

He exhibited at the Richmond Arts gallery in Vancouver 1933, and much later at the Art Gallery of Greater Victoria in 1961.

He died at Sidney, BC in February 1972. The witness on his registration of death was noted as Winifred M. Pitts, wife.
