Margaret Longden was an English artist and a member of the Society of Miniaturists in London, England. She exhibited with the B.C. Society of Fine Arts in April 1915 and in September 1917 (see below).

She also showed miniatures in an exhibition of the Island Arts and Crafts Society in Victoria in 1913.

There was no information for Longden listed in B.C. Vital Statistics as of July 2023, either as Longden, Longdon, or first names Margaret or Robert, or initials R.F. A search of the City Directories from 1912 to 1916 turned up two men named Longden, a Captain Robert J. Longden, living at 754 West 10th Avenue, Vancouver (although no residence is listed there in the street index) and a Robert J. Longden, living at 1354 West 10th Avenue. Margaret is not listed in the Dictionary of British Artists 1880 - 1940 although there are 4 Longdens listed.
