Peggy Larson was born in Glasgow, Scotland, and educated at the Glasgow School of Art. She arrived in Canada in 1946.

She exhibited work in the B.C. Artists annual exhibitions in 1947 and 1950. The artist was living in Vancouver in 1947, in Duncan in 1950, and in Victoria in 1977. The artist had a solo exhibition at the Vancouver Art Gallery in 1948.
