Eddie Larden was born in London, England. He was married to Ida Freeman.

After his arrival in Vancouver he exhibited artwork in the B.C. Artists exhibitions at the Vancouver Art Gallery in 1946 and 1947. The artist was living in Vancouver, where he died in 1952 at the age of 46.

His occupation was noted as "Electrical Manufacturer - Ornamental Lighting Fixtures" at which he had worked for fifteen years, up until the day prior to his death. His racial origin was noted as Hebrew.
