Robert Bruce Inverarity

1909 - 1959

Inverarity was born in Seattle, Washington. He lived in Calgary, Alberta from 1914 to 1922, then moved back to the United States. He came to Vancouver in 1931, and was listed in the City directories in 1932-1933. He had a major solo exhibition at the Vancouver Art Gallery in 1932 (see catalogue below).

He exhibited in the Seattle Art Museum's annual Northwest Artists exhibitions beginning in 1928.
