Ruby Howe was born in Toronto, Ontario. She came to the Okanagan c1915.

She exhibited work at the Vancouver Art Gallery in the 2nd Annual B.C. Artists exhibition in 1933. She was living in Vernon, B.C. She also showed work in the B.C. Artists Christmas exhibition at the Gallery in 1933.

She married David Warren Henry at her home in Coldstream on May 15 1934, after which she exhibited as Ruby Henry. He was noted as a "farmer" who was born in Ireland.

She exhibited artwork as Ruby Henry in the 1934 and 1939 B.C. Artists exhibitions at the Vancouver Art Gallery.

B.C. Vital Statistics on-line lists the death of Henry at Vernon in 1965 at the age of 68. Her occupation was noted as "housewife - at home."
