Capt. A.E.C. Horne was born in Jamaica. He exhibited artwork in the 1944 B.C. Artists exhibition at the Vancouver Art Gallery. The artist was living in Vancouver.

In 1971 the artist was living in Toronto ON, where he died in 1998 at the age of 87.
