Robert T. Finlayson is listed as a student in the 1947 City Directory, married to Kathleen W., they were living in North Vancouver. The 1949 Directory lists Finlayson as an Engineer.
The artist graduated from the art school in 1949.
Finlayson died in Sechelt in 1988 at the age of 92, he had been living in Gibsons. His wife predeceased him. His occupation was noted as Engineer.
