Adrienne Elizabeth Vera Josephine Cools

Adrienne E. Cools was born in Vernon. Her father Joseph Marie Charles Cornille Cools was born in Lierre, Belgium, and came to Canada about 1910. He purchased land and became a fruit rancher. Her mother Vera Wilmot was born in Kingston ON. Her sister was artist Evelyn Cools

Adrienne attended Crofton House School in Vancouver, matriculating about three years after her sister did in 1937. In 1939 Adrienne was still attending the school.

She exhibited artwork in the 1943, 1946, and 1948 B.C. Artists exhibitions at the Vancouver Art Gallery. She was living in Okanagan Centre, B.C.

She died in Vernon Jubilee Hospital in 2003 at the age of 79. She was divorced, and her employment was listed as lab technician. The informant was listed as her daughter Diana Cools.
