William Bayliss exhibited his work in the 1940, 1941, 1943, 1945, and 1946 B.C. Artists shows at the Vancouver Art Gallery. He was living in Crawford Bay at the time.

He also had artwork in the 1945 British Columbia At Work exhibition at the Vancouver Art Gallery.
