Carl Ango was a Founding Member of the Federation of Canadian Artists in 1941.

He showed artwork in the 1940 to 1948 B.C. Artists exhibitions at the Vancouver Art Gallery. He was living in West Vancouver in 1941 to 1943, and Vancouver in 1948.

The 1942 City Directory lists him living at 2342 Marine Drive, married to Petra. His occupation was listed as "interior designer."
