Douglas Alderson

Douglas Alderson was born in Liverpool, England. He married Ingegerd (Gerd) Olson, a 21-year old stenographer, on June 2 1933. Both were living in Burnaby at the time.

He exhibited in a number of the annual B.C. Artists exhibitions at the Vancouver Art Gallery, including 1954 and 1955.

He was a member of the West Vancouver Sketch Club in 1953, where he was living in 1955.

He was living in North Vancouver at the time of his death.
