This is an imaginary scene, drawn while thinking about the polar
bear swim that was occurring over at English Bay on New Year's Day,
not just the herding and lemming-like behaviour involved, but also the
sense of standing on an edge choosing what to do.
The drawing in done in pigment pen and ink, 0.5mm drafting pencil,
and Prismacolour pencils on
110lb. bright white acid free paper from Canada. It is archivally
matted in Crescent 1607 4-ply matte, in an OPUS metal exhibition frame.
