EARL'S COVE
Original pen & ink drawing issued February 2006
Image size 8" high by 12" wide (200 mm by 300 mm)
(Cropped low resolution image illustrated)
This is a view of the Earl's Cove ferry terminal, at the north end
of the Sechelt Peninsula, B.C. We were idling around waiting for the
ferry to Powell River to arrive, and I spent some of the time admiring
the loading slips and engineering, contrasted against the sea and islands beyond.
This is the first drawing done in the Transient Moorage series of
drawings done in 2006. It is drawn with Pilot DR pigment ink pens and india ink brush pen on
translucent vellum. The drawing is in a 12" x 16" OPUS black metal exhibition frame.
