Mrs. Leslie H. Wright was born Clara Dupuy Rogers in Philadelphia, according to the birth certificate for her daughter Leslie Isabel Wright, born in Vancouver on January 9, 1903. The couple were living at 1865 Barclay Street in Vancouver's West End, and the daughter was born at home, assisted by a Doctor and an accoucheur. Mr. Wright was employed as an insurance agent.

Mrs. Wright exhibited in Vancouver starting at least as early as 1909, showing artwork that year in the spring at the Autumn Exhibition held by the Vancouver Studio Club and School of Art.

She showed work with the Vancouver Sketch Club on December 1, 1917.

She died in Vancouver in 1944 at the age of 76.
