Laura Wilcox
December 16 1904 - October 22 1989
Laura Wilcox was born in Griswold, Iowa. She was an early graduate from the
Vancouver School of Decorative and Applied Arts,
receiving her diploma in 1931.
1931 Graduating Class
The Spring 1936 edition of The Smock Pocket, the
Vancouver School of Art Graduates' Association newsletter,
noted that she "has been teaching art at Magee High School for several years."
Wilcox died in Vancouver in 1989 at the age of 84. Her occupation was noted as
"Teacher - School" and she was single.
