Wanda de Turcxynowicz was born in Krakow, Poland in 1908, and moved to North America with her family in 1915. She graduated from the Ontario College of Art in Toronto. She painted in oils, watercolours, and pastels.

She lived in British Columbia "since 1930" according to an entry form filled out for a B.C. Artists annual exhibition. She showed her work in the B.C. Artists exhibitions in 1933 and 1934. She also exhibited her work with the Island Arts and Crafts Society in 1931.

She apparently moved to California in the 1930s, as the Los Angeles Library purchased 15 of her paintings in 1936. B.C. Vital Statistics on-line provides no information on this artist under any spelling of the name, or that of her huband.
