Audree Sutherland graduated from the Vancouver School of Art in 1942, and later exhibited her work in the annual B.C. Artists shows at the Vancouver Art Gallery in 1943, 1945, 1946, 1948. She also had work in the 1948 Stanley Park in Pictures exhibition at the Vancouver Art Gallery.

In 1946 she was living at 3542 West Second Avenue in Vancouver.
