Nelda Sage was born in Finch, Ontario.

She married Walter Noble Sage, the Founding President of the Vancouver Historical Society.

She wrote books and articles, including Fragments of Fantasy (1928), Top O' The World (1929), and Souls: A Play in Four Acts (c1933.

She exhibited artwork from 1950 to 1952 in the B.C. Artists exhibitions at the Vancouver Art Gallery. The artist was living in Vancouver.

She exhibited work with the B.C. Society of Fine Arts in 1952 and 1953.

Sage died in Vancouver in 1981 at the age of 92. She was widowed, her occupation noted as "At home."
