She may be the artist "I. Ronayne" who was registered as a student in the 1925-26 first class at the Vancouver School of Decorative & Applied Arts.
She exhibited artwork in the 1929 BCSFA Winter exhibition at the Vancouver Art Gallery. An entry form noted that she had been "living in B.C. since 1908", and was a resident of Pemberton.
Ronayne died in Williams Lake in 1974 at the age of 72. Her usual residence was 1018 Granville Street, Vancouver. She was single, her occupation was noted as "Author & painter - literature & arts."
