He exhibited artwork in the B.C. Artists exhibition at the Vancouver Art Gallery in 1946. The artist was living in Hopkin's Landing.
Poole died in Williams Lake in 1981 at the age of 70. His occupation was noted as "Retired - own business." He was married to Marion Winifred Wells.
