Eva May McBain exhibited artwork with the West Vancouver Sketch Club at the Legion Hall in West Vancouver on February 27, 1932.

She also showed work at the Vancouver Art Gallery in the 1933 2nd Annual B.C. Artists, and the 1934 3rd Annual. Entry forms noted that she was living in West Vancouver, and had been living in B.C. since 1920.

McBain died in West Vancouver in 1948 at the age of 73, according to B.C. Vital Statistics on-line.
