She married Ernest Johnston at Silver Creek on October 8 1926. Her occupation was noted as housewife, residing at Silver Creek.
She exhibited artwork in the B.C. Artists exhibitions at the Vancouver Art Gallery in 1945 and 1946. She was living in Canoe in 1945. She later moved to Salmon Arm.
Johnston died in Salmon Arm in 1983. Her employment was noted as "artist - self employed." Her son William witnessed the death certificate.
