Mrs. G. Baly Hayes was born and studied art in England, came to Canada with her
husband, and were living in Winnipeg MB in 1922. She
was an early instructor at the Winnipeg School of Art, and joined the
Winnipeg Sketch Club.
After arriving in Vancouver she exhibited artwork in the 1948 and 1949 annual B.C. Artists
exhibitions at the Vancouver Art Gallery.
The artist was living in Vancouver.
