Margaret Sibella Hardwick
March 27 1895 - May 14 1984
Sibella Hardwick was born in Clinton. Her father Edward Ernes(t?) Hardwick was from
Tadcaster, Yorkshire, England, and her mother Margaret Ellen Maxfield was from
Summerside, Prince Edward Island. She qualified for
a Teacher's Certificate with the Vancouver School Board in 1921.
In 1928 she was living at 1344 West Georgia Street.
In 1930 she was listed in the Vancouver City Directory as a Teacher, living at
1122 Bute Street in Vancouver's West End. In 1929 and 1930 she illustrated
articles in School Days magazine.

Hardwick died at the age of 89 in Burnaby in 1984, where she was living. Her
employment was noted as "retired school teacher." She was single.
